Version 3 still requires manually unchecking of all five options when manually updating

For secure environments and machines not allowed to access the internet, manually downloading the new version of CCleaner is the only way to install updates.

 

Then we have to manually UNCHECK all five Install Options:

 

? We don't need to Add Desktop Shortcut - it's just a manual update

? We don't need to Add Start Menu Shortcuts - it's just a manual update

? We don't need to Add 'Run CCleaner' option to Recycle Bin context menu - it's just a manual update

? We don't need to Add 'Open CCleaner...' option to Recycle Bin context menu - it's just a manual update

? We don't need to Automatically check for updates to CCleaner - it's just a manual update for secure machines not allowed to interact with even secure servers.

 

Can we please have UNCHECK ALL in the lower right corner of the install window?

 

 

Then we have to wait five seconds because the firewall is not allowing CCleaner to phone home and check if there's a newer version than the one we *just* downloaded.

 

Can we please have Disable Update and Deselect All option?

All CCleaner downloads are manual anyway!

You should allow your Firewall to let CCleaner install, no?

 

And yeah, CCleaner 3 should have had "Remember last time's settings" feature by now.
