thoste
As far as I can see index.dat files are cleaned during a run. But which of them in detail? As you can see from the attached snapshot my system has 10 (!) of them. How can I tell CCleaner to list all of the index.dat files it knows? ishan_rulz
Right click on Index.dat files under Internet Explorer and click "Analyze". When you get the results, double click on "Internet Explorer - Index.dat files" and you will get a Detailed View of what CCleaner has got. Any problems, write back. Simplicity is hard. The result was really disappointing. From the 10 index.dat files shown in the snapshot above only 1 was cleaned by CCleaner. Hmm, is there really no advanced find-all-index.dat-files-and-wipe-them feature in CCleaner? This is a big security hole. Could this be included in the next release? Aethec
Most index.dat files are deleted after a reboot =) Piriform French translator
