Free Registry Defrag 3.0

I just ran Free Registry Defrag 3.0, which resulted in about 3% fragmentation. After defragging and optimizing, I ran CCleaner, which picked up approximate 50MBs to be deleted as a result of the defrag procedure. Apparently, "Free Registry Defrag" is in my winapp2.ini file.

Are these entries simply a registry backup and safe to delete?

It just deletes what's in the backup folder where FRD put the old registry before the optimize, it's located here:

C:\WINDOWS\$regcmp$

I'd say it's safe to let that winapp2.ini entry clean up after FRD simply because I don't know how "easy" FRD's backup would be to work from which is why I make an ERUNT backup and System Restore Point before using FRD.

Thanks, Andavari. that's what I assumed, but thought I'd check just to be sure. I, too, created an Erunt registry backup -- and I created a System Restore Point before defragging.
