dotEXE
I downloaded Speccy at around two weeks ago and up until yesterday, it has performed admirably. The problem started yesterday, when I was playing an MMO with Facebook on Google Chrome. I decided to check on my CPU temperature, so I ran Speccy. After the window appeared, everything froze (I didn't even get the chance to see my specs) then the screen went black. I thought nothing of it, but then the same incident happened twice just a while ago, this time I didn't have the MMO running. Here are my specs: Memory: 2GB Kingston RAM HDD: 320GB Western Digital Caviar Blue Processor: AMD Athlon x2 2.6 GHz MOBO: Emaxx EMX-AMD780G-ACC Running WinXP SP3 and the latest version of the beta. I have since uninstalled it. What do you think is causing the problem?
redhawk
Dead video signal, I guess your graphics card didn't take to kindly to Speccy's probing. What graphics card do you have?? Richard S.
dotEXE
Dead video signal, I guess your graphics card didn't take to kindly to Speccy's probing. What graphics card do you have?? Richard S. Only the Built-in videocard from my motherboard. It's ATI Radeon HD3200, I believe. The weird thing is that this problem only manifested itself last night. EDIT: I saw that this was an issue in the Bugs and Suggestions thread, but seems no one there paid attention to it (not explicitly, anyway).
