Additional Functionallity

Hey Guys i don't know if anyone has brought these up yet as i haven't read through the topics, but here are a few ideas i have to add functionality to the Speccy Software.

I've love what i see so far. But there are a few features that could be very useful.

For instance. The program give me the current temperatures for the Hard Drives & the Add-on Graphics Card, but not for the CPU & memoery sectors.

Maybe you could also include hardware monitoring as a feature & also monitor the PSU Voltages & Fan Speeds. Eliminating the need for Intel Desktop Utilites & of course being universal.

The program also has potential for warrenty managment.

The software seems to give all the info on the Hard drives except for the Hard Drive Serial number.

This would be convienient for warrenty management. Esp if you have mutiple drives in your PC or a raid Cofiguration.

It would also be great to get the serial number for the CPU as that a real mission to get that serial number for warrenty claims.

Now i could get all the information i would want about my PC with the use of one application, instead of having to use DXDiag, Intel Desktop Utilities & funny apps like below, which now seem to be incompatible with Windws 7.

In fact Even better maybe you could incorporate a serial Key reader for MS Windows & MS Office under the Operating System report. Eliinating the need for programs like these.

I could save a report for the system specs for IT Hardware Audits & Make sense of software legality for software audits.

Eliminating the need for yet another program.

Thanks so much for getting the ball rolling on yet another awsome program from Piriform.

HotPoint Solutions you have hit the nail right on the head with all your suggestions, you have my vote. By the way I have been using "Belarc Advisor" now for about 5 years, it's the first thing I run when starting work on a clients PC, just to get an instant "truthful overview" of just what I am about to attempt to fix.

All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server.

Operating Systems: Runs on Windows 7, 2008 R2, Vista, 2008, 2003, XP, 2000, NT 4, Me, 98, and 95. Both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows is supported.

Browsers: Runs on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and many others.

File size: 2194 KB.

Always With Kind Regards
