cymro
Hi, After I run Ccleaner, Firefox takes between 30 sec and 1 min to open. Once opened then closed, as long as I don't run Ccleaner again Firefox will open quickly. But if I run Ccleaner again it will take over 30 sec to open again. I don't want Ccleaner to ignore Firefox as I want it to delete history and coockies but it must be deleting much more than that. I have checked the settings. Could you please help and tell me how to set it up to what I want. Thanks

Winapp2.ini
is Old Prefetch Data ticked? winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Jiriji
I have no problem with Firefox. The only box I have unticked is "Save Form Information", just to make my life easier. I would agree that Compact Databases should be ticked, as not doing it seems to be contrary to what CCleaner is designed to do.

So the problem is definately with Ccleaner. With the firefox boxes checked, Firefox can take up to 1 min to open after a clean.???? Any ideas?? Sometimes that gets rid of annoying little glitches.
Moderators Andavari Posted January 23, 2010 Moderators Share Posted January 23, 2010 In order for the Piriform Bug Fixers to investigate this can you provide more information: * Windows operating system version. * Firefox version, and any Firefox add-ons you have installed. * Other resident running software like your installed anti-virus. Many Firefox issues can be overcome by running Firefox's own built-in cleaning tool: 'Tools->Clear Recent History' - make sure you untick/don't use the Site Preferences box as it will delete all your bookmarks.
