1) setting it to run as admin will always result in a UAC prompt, for any any program ever

2) no CCleaner need access to delete files for which elevated privileges are needed.

3) Please learn about UAC and you will realize it is a VERY NEEDED thing in windows systems which always should have been there (akin to the SUDO command in Linux)

d) Hi guys I've been gone because I am setting up a SMF forum, but I miss you guys and it's mostly set up so I'll be back to answering again soon

Happy new year

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Nergal the Evil Demon: I respectfully disagree with your informed opinion. :D In my 17 months with Vista I've never used UAC - it's a pain in the butt. Maybe I'm taking chances, but I feel I don't need to be monitored by a baby sitter. ;)
