claire Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Hi everyone, I am currently having problems with my AVG antivirus programme and when looking for help on their forums someone had suggested running CCleaner as it's a more comprehensive option that Windows Disk Cleanup. I tried to download the latest version from the website and, although the file seems to download, it won't run at all and so I can't install it. I tried downloading it again and also tried to run a previous version but this didn't work either. I also tried to download it using IE rather than Firefox but no luck! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong or an alternative way of running the downloaded files? Thank you! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

claire Posted October 13, 2009 Author Share Posted October 13, 2009 Hi, I tried to do this with Firefox but when I download it only gives the option to 'run' or 'cancel'... I also tried to right click the download and see if I could open the file location but it won't even let me do this. With IE when I click on 'save' it comes up with a box saying it's saving the file, but then the box closes and nothing else happens at all. Obviously this is a problem with my computer as it's not just CCleaner that I am unable to run.
