LEEnoble
Hi, Anyone know if the Shuttle SN68SG2 barebones box supports AMD's new AM3 socket processors? I did a quick Google search but couldn't find anything. Thanks CCleaner fan since 2005 picshack.co.uk - free image hosting
fireryone
Found this CPU support list, may help, but I only see AM2 in that list: http://global.shuttle.com/support_list03.jsp?PI=647 fireryone

It's just because I've heard that AM3 CPUs are backwards compatible with AM2. Don't know if that is true or not. Moderators rridgely Posted September 21, 2009 Moderators Share Posted September 21, 2009 AM2 can support AM3 if the Motherboard has a bios update that will recognize it. Only newer boards can, and I have no clue whats in that shuttle.
fireryone
From what I read its using a customized MB so that would mean you have to ask shuffle if they are gonna release an update... fireryone
