Keithuk
Welcome to Piriform detzero. I would like to know if there is a way to make a silent install using other options than the default ones; For example, if I don't want to add the Yahoo toolbar, it's possible? Thats is the default installer thats worked pretty good for a long time. When I install I remove everything except the desktop icon thats all I need. If the user can't remove ticks out of checkboxes then I wouldn't bother installing, would you? Keith Windows XP 2002 SP3 IE 7.0 Martin2k Rorshach112 is the best
Moderators Andavari Posted August 27, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 27, 2009 For example, if I don't want to add the Yahoo toolbar, it's possible? Get the Slim build, or Portable version.

jacoballen
The slim version helps if I dont want to install the toolbar, but what if I dont want to install desktop and start menu shortcuts or check for updates?
Exciter
The slim version helps if I dont want to install the toolbar, but what if I dont want to install desktop and start menu shortcuts or check for updates? I don't know about the desktop shortcut. But I work on computers and want certain options set so to make things easier I just use the slim installer and exported the options from the registry. You can just make this ccleaner.reg: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform\CCleaner] "Language"="1033" "(App)Cookies"="False" "(App)History"="False" "(App)Recently Typed URLs"="False" "(App)Delete Index.dat files"="False" "(App)Last Download Location"="False" "(App)Recent Documents"="False" "(App)Run (in Start Menu)"="False" "(App)Search Assistant Autocomplete"="False" "(App)Other Explorer MRUs"="False" "(App)Mozilla - Cookies"="False" "(App)Mozilla - Download History"="False" "(App)Mozilla - Internet History"="False" "(App)VNCViewer 3"="False" "UpdateCheck"="0"
