IE view history problem

Hello!,

I have been using CCleaner for a while now with no problems. I use a tool called IE view history by nirisoft that shows the internet sites visited and the time they were visited. Usually, when I run CCleaner it deletes all entries in IE view history. But for some reason, with the latest version of CCleaner these entries are still there when I run IE view history. I can delete them with IE view history, but am just curious as to why CCleaner no longer removes these entries. I can also remove them via the internet options, delete all method. I have vista ultimate 32 with sp1 and ie 8.

Thanks

Ie History view looks at the history dat

when cleaner cleans dats (cache, History, Cookies) it requires a restart of the computer to clear the dats. If you restart your computer you should see nothing in iehistory view

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Thanks Nergal. Im testing the same on an xp sp3 computer and this computer does not behave the same as my vista computer. It deletes the entries in IE view history without a reboot on the xp computer. Not a big deal, I will just reboot the vista computer to complete cleaning of the dat files.
