voirdire
After scan, Secure Overwrite Checked greyed out. If I highlight all, Secure Overwrite Highlighted is greyed out also. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing. v. 1.29.429 No problem with previous versions.

If you sort the deleted files list by Last Modified", you will see a Thunderbird.Zip file there, either at the very top, or bottom, depending how the list is sorted. If you have checked all files to be securely overwritten, then simply uncheck the Thunderbird.Zip file and the Secure Overwrite Checked Files, will not be greyed out and Recuva will work as it did before. The odd thing is that if you recover the Thunderbird.zip file and restore the directory structure you will not find any Zip file in the directory that Recuva says it is. Very odd. Anyway, go back to version 1.28, it works as it should without the Thunderbird.zip anomaly. Hopefully they will fix this "feature" in a future release. Paul2121
Next release?? I just installed I assumed the latest version of Recuva V.1.53.1087 October 2016. I didn't see any 'Thunderbird'. And I am having the very same problem of 'Secure Overwrite' grayed out. Should I go back to an older version?
