fritzo
Using the CCleaner Uninstall option to remove QuickBooks... Uninstaller runs into error, rolls back , leaves message and exits cleanly. CCleaner deletes QuickBooks from list of programs to remove.
Moderators Andavari Posted March 19, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2009 If QuickBooks uses Microsoft Windows Installer that can be the problem, as I've often seen programs installed using it give an error if CCleaner is used to initiate the uninstall, something about having to stop a service or something. Try the traditional route of uninstalling it via the Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs, or an uninstall icon in the QuickBooks Start Menu grouping. If the uninstaller is however broken: Reinstall QuickBooks, or do a repair install of it, then try the uninstall again.
