Moderators Augeas Posted March 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 18, 2009 Well, there's this... http://forum.worldstart.com/showthread.php?t=132746 among others. It seems to be some Norton glitch.
Moderators Nergal Posted March 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 18, 2009 Yes IWinPwdSvc is Norton/Symantec, I've said it before and it bears repeating: Antivirus Programs will often NOT identify themselves to the registry in the way cCleaner looks for indentfication, this is to stop Viruses and Malware from mucking up your antivirus program. Please read my Signature ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
