Booman
What I have noticed is then when I uninstalled Adobe Photoshop and ran CCleaners' Registry cleaner it deleted the association files. All my image files had the "Corrupted" icon and I had to right click on one of the images and change the OPEN WITH to Microsoft fax viewer. It is really annoying. Maybe you should create some add-on to make it automatically restore the defaults or what ever was there before.
