PHIL76
Cheers, I'm a french user of Recuva and never had problem with this soft. I'm using last up to date version. Yesterday I suffured a malware or virus attack that have been stopped by Antivir (deny access). But now when I use Recuva I have an alert saying " Impossible de lire le secteur de boot" (can't read boot sector). My PC looks clear (no virus found) and is still booting correctly ... what can I do to make Recuva working well ? I tryed to reinstall Recuva but nothing changes. Thanks for your help and hints. What do you think of a fixboot command or any boot fixing (keeping in mind I only have boot problem with Recuva, my PC is still booting well) ? PHIL76
Hi everybody, The problem is fixed. The boot.ini sector was infected with TDSS trojan that prevented Recuva to scan. The malware have been remooved ( with great difficulties!) Recuva is now working well. Thanks
