trparky
I've tried this several time but CCleaner doesn't clean the past-typed URLs of the address bar in FireFox.

If you open up the Applications tab in CCleaner, under Firefox, is "Saved form information" checked? There's always an exception to the rule. I'm that exception. Moderators DennisD Posted February 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2009 The best solution is to completely disable the Firefox "Awful" bar. Type "About:Config" (without the quotes), into the address bar. Scroll down to, or search for, "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults", and set the number to 0. (Double click the entry) You may have to restart Firefox to clear the dropdown menu, although it worked straight off for me. Hopre that helps.
