Option to use more ram to speed up defrag!

I think this would be the 1st in any defrag software.

 

And it would be useful for user with too much memory to spare.

 

I can spare up to 3GB, but then may be a 64bit edition of Defraggler is needed

Yeah. I almost forgot about this. Option like "Ultrafaast Defrag" or "Ultra DefragglinG", when files temporarly placed fully in physical memory on something like "Invisible RAM Disk", instead of shuffling them on HDD. This would be a great speedup and also reduces necessary free space at which defragmentation is possible. But this meens that you should have UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for safety. If you mean this, then I join to request.

for me, i monitor my resource expenditures daily. so this idea wont be of use to me. i need every bit to keep my comp running smoothly

It's not like the RAM would be unusable after it was unallocated.

At the expense of complete Windows and applications install and updates, and loss of personal data (nobody does backups any more) if the defrag process hits a glitch.
