can recuva recover after using sdelete app?

is it possible for recuva to recover files deleted using sdelete application ? just wondering

I think that the answer is in the link you posted. If you use Sdelete to overwrite at the file level, then Recuva may be able to find copies of parts or all of the data that have been left after edit and other operations on the file, by running a deep scan. But in general, the answer is no.

thx mate for reply. i checked to see and found that a lot of files have no preview and couldnt be recovered. so sdelete did its job correctly. i like to test out programs like this from time to time. cheers

Was that on individual files or a clean sweep of all the unused space on the disk? I think it renames the deleted files (individual deletion), does it remove path/size info as well? Cheers.

that was geared towards image related files. last count i have 238.690 files -lots of images lol
