If you have already rebooted, then Use Control Panel > Java and make sure your settings are correct. Good luck, davey

davey
Could you give me more details ? Updated then rebooted....still unable load Java in my browser. Thanks Hello, SEE updated information below Start here. http://java.com/en/ Notice under the Download button this information. What is Java? | Do I have Java? | Need Help? Verify your Java with "Do I have Java". If all OK then click on Help Center and it is very informative. You know what your system is and browsers and such. This will be the quickest way to resolve your problem. Good luck, davey UPDATE P.S. There may be no problem with your PC at all. The problem may be with Secunia Online scanner. I tried the Secunia Online scanner and have the same problem as you are having. I have Secunia PSI on my PC and have been using it for several months. It keeps historical data and lets you know what you have added or deleted. You do not have to keep it running in the background. It only loads when I want it. I activate it about once a week and do a scan. It is great for helping me clean out old backup software on my Backup drive. It also allows you to update and delete things with its easy to use GUI. It scans many more programs than the Online scanner. It allows for Simple mode (for less experienced users) or Advanced mode. I have WinXP Pro SP3 with IE7 and have no complaints. http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ I also use FileHippo.com Update Checker to be sure my other applications are up-to-date. http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/ Edited December 31, 2008 by davey
