CCleaner Settings

Windows restores them though they are clean.

 

Thanks Tarun. I know that Windows restores the files but I should have distinguised between "delete" and "clean". My Index.dat files are presumably deleted and restored in the usual way (which means that they are always there whenever they're looked for) but if I select the "delete" item in Settings/ Windows, run Cleaner,reboot and immediately open my Content IE5/Index.dat file, it's contents are exactly the same as they were before the Cleaner run,so it has not been cleaned. This is what I am querying and I hope that, in this context, it is

not as FAQQY as it may have appeared.!! Sorry I irritated you and DjLizard. Cheers, Mabari. :(
