Try and create a Folder anywhere on the Computer named as “CON, ON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9 “. It was fun sending initialization strings to the modem through COM1 to set the number of bits, parity and speed of communication. The good old days when 1200BPS was considered fast.
