Tom AZ Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 My Sandboxed Firefox is rather slow in opening -- generally 13sec-15sec. Is this fairly normal when opening FF 2 under Sandboxie? Are there any setting tweaks to speed it up a little? FF2 opens about as quick sandboxed as it does un sandboxed for me and I haven't tweaked anything for it. Talldog9 Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 This is because sandboxie has to copy files needed (written/access times) by firefox when it starts up to the sandbox folder. This is a normal delay when larger apps are started sandboxed. If it really bothers you maybe portable firefox will start up faster sandboxed. Probably not...
