C Cleaner Very Very slow

Hello

 

I have already reinstalled CCleaner 4 times, but it takes 30 min before CCleaner to show up , i have never had this problem before . I have the latest CCleaner.

 

Vista SP1 2.0Ghz 2GB Ram.

 

Could someone help me ? CCleaner always booted in 2seconds, but now ....

Have you installed any new software lately?

 

and last but not least, are all your virus/malware scans coming up clean?

I will try the older version . No spyware or adaware/Virus i think no.

 

New software yes , because i had to format my hard drive

Hi SleejR,

Don't forget to go to MS Update and make sure you get all the updates for your PC.

Your CCleaner will run faster with the newer C++ programs.

Did you Reboot after installing CCleaner? If not, do so especially since you have a freshly reinstalled OS.

Hi SleejR,

As long as you have installed all the MS updates you should have what you need for C++ programs.

CCleaner is written in C++.

If you updated but did not Reboot, then the older versions of some MS programs could still be in memory and problems could result.

The older version did , because now it is back as fast as it used to be .
