bobfox
Love CCleaner. But it always resets my windows explorer view to Icons. I only want DETAILS when I frequently use windows explorer. So which CC unchecked will allow me to keep it in DETAILS view mode? TIA.

YoKenny
In Windows Explorer navigate to the hard dive you want to display then click on the Details icon then Tools then Folder Options then View then select Display contents of system folders, Display the full path in the address bar, Do not cache thumbnails and Show hidden files and folders then un-check Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and ignore warnings then click Apply to All Folders. Be very careful to not to delete required system files. You are also advised to untick all other Advanced options in the Cleaner list on the Windows tab. The are only needed on few occasions by Advanced users. Good Luck, davey
