Hello! I just read through the Beginner's Guide but I am still unclear and should I just say scared to clean the issues with the registry. I have many issues. What is the best way to inch into this? or do I just fix the suggestions no questions asked? I am computer literate but understanding about the registry is not my best suit. Thanks for yor help!!

If you're unsure you can go the safe route which is:

  • Download and install ERUNT for making daily registry backups. ERUNT is freeware, and can save you from registry issues if System Restore can't restore your system.
  • Make a System Restore point, if your version of Windows has System Restore built into it.

and then I'll be safe to clean up ALL the restore issues that CCleaner suggests?

Yes,you will be in a better position to get yourself out of a problem.

No,some of the things that you choose to do now, may come back to bite you later.

That is why I constantly remind users that they are the one pushing the buttons.

One of the simplest rules in computers."When in doubt, leave it alone".

You are the only one that can answer that.

"Search and you shall find".That is the secret.

Here is a "fun" little link to improve your searching.
