Moderators DennisD Posted February 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2008 Exciting stuff. I was watching TV about 1.00 this morning, when my couch shook for about 3 seconds. Never heard anything, so it took a little while for it sink in. I've just experienced an earthquake, or we have a couch shaking poltergeist. Went to bed none the wiser, and found out today that it was in fact an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the old Richter Scale. That's a first in my lifetime. Any other UK guys awake to feel this? Moderators hazelnut Posted February 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2008 Measured at over 5 on the scale at Leeds university with some poor guy 10 mile from us having his pelvis broken when the chimney stack came through the bedroom ceiling. Might not seem a lot to other parts of the world, but here in the UK it's a bit like snow in the desert, rare, and subject to be talked over on the street corners Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
