1984 Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hello all. Have a problem with a buddies computer. After a new xp install his sound card is not being recognized. For instance, in sounds and devices in control panel, when he goes to the sound, nothing shows there. cant adjust volume, etc. but he does have a sound card. and it was working before. any suggestions? davey Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Does it show in DEVICE MANAGER.If not something has come loose. Once it shows and/or is sensed by Found New Hardware logic.
