oli
When I insert a cd/dvd into my disc drive windows explorer will not recognise it, will just think its a blank disc. Also autorun will not do anything at all, i have tried googling about autorun and tried a few suggestions like with the registry and stuff but no luck. If i try to look at the cd in windows media player for example, it can see and use it. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Homer: I never apologise, im sorry Lisa. Humpty
You could try the fix at the link below. Go to "Win XP Fixes" then look in the right column, about the tenth fix down "Restore CD/DVD Drives to Explorer" and follow the instructions. Doug Knox's fixes If no joy the link below may offer alternatives. Annoyances - Autorun Fix Oopsies - Vista, I missed it. Go to control panel, switch to classic view, and have a look at the Autoplay settings in there?
