davidlimyk
Whenever I try analyse and do a clean up, the app will always stall when it reaches the following folder and file: /windows/temp/sosF.tmp Is this a bug or something. I tried opening up the folder and manually delete the file but it hangs that delete function as well and will sort of go into a neverending loop. Can anyone help please? YoKenny
Please indicate what operating system you are using. Sometimes Windows keeps files it needs in memory for quick reference and thus can not be removed until Windows lets go of them. An notorious set of files is the index.dat files that continue to grow and grow unless cleaned during reboot and that is why CCleaner has an option to clean them and they will be cleaned at reboot. CCleaner does not locate all index.dat files so I use Index.dat Suite to clean them plus Index.dat Suite has the added benefit of being able to schedule a defrag at reboot so that the defrag operation can carry out its defrag operation without all applications loaded and impeding defrag's operation. JDPower
You could try using Unlocker to unlock whatever process is preventing it from being deleted: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
