I have tried every thing (even went into registry which is some thing I avoid like the plague). I cant get a clean install. everytime I delete and reinstall It come back just like before.

(I know this is probably really easy to fix but I have reinstalled firefox about 6 times in the last 30 minutes and have had no luck).

You probably need/want to create a new profile. Close all open Firefox windows (and any preloaders, if you use one like I do), and then go to Start, Run..., and type

firefox.exe -p

Create a new profile from there. You could then delete old one if you want.

Click here if CCleaner Issues are re-appearing

Uninstall firefox.

Delete the Mozilla firefox folder in programs.

Run CCleaner encase of stray registry entrys.

(I think, I never had to do a very clean uninstall of firefox either then add/remove. I've always been satisfied with it)

This dosent work. The reason I want to do this is that I keep getting errors or not so good performance. So I want a fresh install and then reinstall my extensions and themes. Has anyone else done this before? DJlizzard, the reason I cant use your method is because when I installed extentions and chromedit I installed them into the main profile so they affect all profiles (this was not intentional).

Because I never read things all the way (bad habit) and am new to firefox when I installed my extensions it said something about install in all profiles. Well after reinstalling my extensions and seeing the message again it was talking about my win xp profiles ;).
