True. I use Directory Opus 8 and this can't be bettered as an Explorer replacement. Once installed, I can't go back to the original Explorer. Opus has FTP support built in to the software, too. Chris.

I have NO option in our internal CMS to classify our full downloads as full downloads. I asked for this addition ages ago, but getting anything changed internally takes a long time in a large company. I avoid using the 'freeware' classification as it definitely isn't freeware. Hm, sorry to hear that. I suppose that's always the tricky dilemma with partitioning software. Here am I writing about partitioning your C: drive (on downloadjunkie.co.uk) and I 'forgot' that the problem with partitioning your main drive is that you can, in theory, lose everything if it goes wrong. Paragon Partition Manager is still pretty decent software though, I hope. Chris/vnunet.com.

Some of our free downloads on vnunet.com have a 'download expiry' (ie. they're available to download from the site, for a month). I think the full Registry Mechanic download offer expires this week. Correct. We took it down as it was supposed to be a 'closed' download for magazine readers. We're now going to have to re-evaluate that strategy as the information spread across the web. It wasn't an offer for the general public and, as you can imagine, it annoyed both Acronis and ourselves. At one stage, last Wednesday, 400 people were trying to download at the same time from our FTP server and it was overloaded. All the free apps on www.vnunet.com and www.downloadjunkie.co.uk *are* for the general public though. Everyone is more than welcome to download Registry Mechanic 5 and others! Chris.
