Probably system restore, duplicates, etc. There are programs out there that will do it, but make sure you backup. Last time I tried that it took me a week to recover. Does Kelly tell you what the files are, and where?

Never tried it, but under options there is "custom folders" which gives you the option to add the folders you want to clean.Disregard. read your post again. I was not aware it would delete all contents.

CCleaner does not necessarily remove spyware. That is what your antispyware program is for.Quarantine and delete it. Do you have show" detailed log of temp internet files" checked under advanced options?

Yes, it is safe. It will, however, erase "crap". I have used the option with no adverse results. If it is a worry, back it up the first few times you remove data.

If you save the cookies (options) you should have no problem. Options.>cookies and <> until you save what you need.

Hello Mike. You will find that is a common practice,However all duplicate files are not bad.

Without knowing what brand of drive it is, I can only guess. If it is an older drive, you may be able to obtain a patch from the manufacturer to fix it. At one time, there were barriers that could not be exceeded. Is this a new problem, and has the hard drive on the machine in question been replaced? You may need a BIOS update.

Do you have the advanced options checked in the cleaner? If so, I believe I would continue as is if there are no problems. If not, do some clicky and a lot of crap will zap.
