No, the process would take a while and be messy. I don't really see a need in backing up junk anyways.

Yep, just one of those good days for updates.

The Beginner's Guide in CCleaner Discussion

I use the Exit button.

WOOHOO!
-
Eh, not right dude.
The zip contains the installer. So, that is the PR or whatever you wish to call it that has been leaked. It's the same as the one link that gets emailed to people.
What's not right? If you download ccsetup121.exe it will be an official version, if you download a zip file from a site with the exe in it, it will more than likely a beta. Because there is no real need in zipping it.

i know when and when not to post things.......... i only post these like this at my Widbits!!! Here http://www.laggaming.com/index.php?option=...id=13&Itemid=50
So is that version at neowin the final version?
No, there is a very easy way to tell if it is an official release or not.
CCleaner does not come in a zip file, only beta does.
-
Actually the samething happened with 1.20, I reported it awhile back. I will say this, there is a way to find out who it is. So, don't be surprised if you ever get a beta again. Beta was only sent out to 3 or 4 people. You could have possible ruined beta for everyone else, I hope you are happy.

Are you even reading the posts lately? You've been so far off. She wants to know what the things and the settings do.
Laura, anything you have a certain question about? Give an example and we'll try to give an accurate reply.
I thought that's what she meant, but I wasn't 100% sure. Have you read the Beginner's Guide yet? I know it doesn't explain everything in detail, but it might help.

You can always open the ini files with notepad.
-
Will the next release have the ability to delete folders as well as files ? ?
THANKS ! ! !
Gary
No Comment.

Oh screw you wankers and your Olympics crap.
Na, I was actually happy. I would have been happy with anyone except the French.
-
These folders are cleaned by default. Options, Advanced, Only delete temp files older than 48 hours.
It may not be able to clean everything, as some of the files may still be in use.
-
Add/Remove should work fine on Firefox.
-
Ok, I will try to explain it...
Registry
Usually there will be a RecentList folder in the program registry. If not, it would be 1 registry key that does the samething as the RecentList folder but more compact.
Files
Usually you like for .log, .tmp, or files that the application creates as temp or stores information.
You have to know Windows, the application, and the files it uses. Removing a wrong can cause real problems.

FireDaemon is a utility that allows you to install and run virtually any native Win32 application or script (eg. BAT/CMD, Perl, Java, Python, TCL/TK) as a Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 & Longhorn service. FireDaemon features easy configuration (via GUI or XML), a low memory/CPU overhead, subprocess prioritisation, custom environments, CPU binding plus monitoring and logging to the event log and on-disk log files.

Have you tried completely unistalling CCleaner?

d2e, please read the Forum Rules.
-
90% of the registry keys will be in HKCU\Software

Anyone speak Spanish?
-
I used it for about a day. It's so so, it's a waste of time checking the link though. it has to upload the file to Dr. Web then it will say or not. It will only do small files though. Sometimes it doesn't even work.
