  1. IMO, the Earth will surely meet its doomsday, but not certainly 2012. Perhaps a few billion years more, when the Sun turns into a red giant. Dunno the chances of Earth in a collision course with a small celestial object.

  2. Ahhh.... nostalgia...

Back in the days in Philippines, computers have been a bit of luxury. Typewriters were selling like pancakes. When Windows 95 arrived, the number of computer owners boomed. Computer parts shops popped like grass. As time went on, more and more became computer literate. Internet cafe's sprung up. Dial-up was more expensive than a DSL today. For US$2, one can surf the net for an hour. Maybe for you guys, $2 is nothing. When converted to Philippine Pesos, that means a lot to us. Still, more and more started to use dial-up. As technology progressed, DSL lines were born under our feet. You can get a 256kbps ADSL connection for US$40. Thankfully, as time went by, the speed increased further. And so, I'm here in this forum, typing about the horrifying days of (our)technology being outrun by snails.... and is still going on today.

  3. Nope no Restore Default button, but for some weird reason, I don't think the settings got saved, because when I changed my theme, and reapplied the default Luna theme, everything was back to normal.

If you want that way, you have to edit the font settings of the MSSTYLES file of the Visual Style you prefer. I just use ResEdit for that.

  4. I do use BitTorrent for downloading HQ animes, for linux distros, and game installers (if they use torrent). BitTorrent protocol can be easily tracked, no wonder some ISPs can throttle the torrent bandwidth if they see their subscriber/s using the BitTorrent protocol. Your IP is shown in the peers you are downloading to, or uploading to. Like rridgely said, BitTorrent relies on the ratio of seeders vs peers.

  5. Yeah Corona I see what you're saying, but has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Too much English in one sentence. Brain hurts... *BSOD*.

  6. @Icedrake

Before Windows officially released the Win7 RC download link from their site, people have been relying on torrent sites to get the leaked RC. Perhaps malware authors try to lure people who were not informed of the official download link from Microsoft.

Anyway though, I'll try it when I finally upgrade this aging computer. (AGP anyone?)

  7. I doubt i'm going to use it because it doesn't sound very stable, what I've heard from others. SO it doesnt look like it

It would be better if you have ACTUALLY tested it before giving judgment, else you'll just be bashed by most people who had USED it.

  8. Tunerz, that's a pretty cool wallpaper. :)

Well, I'm a bit surprised that only a few recognizes it.

Perhaps it would be better that way.

    PS

Are the winds in the beach of your countries cold? I can't imagine going out of the water only to be blasted by the wind.

  9. Is that a theme/skin for Windows XP? That's done really well. However, why do you have two taskbars, two system properties, and two LAN windows open in each screen shot? Also, why is there so little physical memory allotted to your system?

    AJ

For the theme though, it's SevenVG RC Theme by Vishal-Gupta with a few edits of my own.

Well about the two's, it's all about VirtualBox. I was messin' around with seamless mode out of boredom. About the memory, it's a different side of the story. :P
