  1. Before I say some hoopla around here

    Can I ask for your experience regarding the security issues that plague Microsoft's line of OSes? Why did you think virus/malware as vampires?

    Are really exist antiviruses who kill the Trojans

    I also ask you about the knowledge you've acquired regarding such software or antivirus to be straight to the point?

    I'm just not used to... erm... "weird" questions regarding anti-malware software. Kinda makes me doubt about things.

  2. "who is the fastest to get a banana from the tree"

    When I read this, I always thought of the banana tree.

    "There is a very very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals passing by"

    I thought they just passed by the coconut tree!

  3. Well it's really from my friend. I've seen that "thing" again and again, even in Youtube. I've also seen the GIF version of "that", then I blocked it.

    *You guys made my day, with joy and laughter. :lol:

    ** which I don't get most of the time in my entire life, or is it just that I'm pessimistic?

  4. None of the above are essential to the workings of either your Graphics card or Adobe Reader.

    I have three of them, and they have been disabled from the beginning.

    NvCpl and nwiz are only required in some cases, namely when you have one of the advanced features of your Graphics card enabled. If that's not the case, they should be disabled.

    Adobe Speed Launch is a useless feature. On modern day computers you won't notice any difference at all with or without it enabled.

    I've played with Speed Launch and found a difference in speed, but it doesn't always run in the memory so I'll leave it. I also use the advanced features of nVidia.

  5. NvCpl (probably component of nVidia's drivers) RUNDLL32.EXE C:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup

    nwiz (probably component of nVidia's drivers) nwiz.exe /install

    NvMcTray (probably component of nVidia's drivers) RUNDLL32.EXE C:\windows\system32\NvMcTray.dll,NvYaskbarInit

    NeroCheck (component of Nero :P) C:\Windows\System32\NeroCheck.exe

    Reader_sl (Adobe Speed Launch for those who aren't familiar, needed) "D:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader\Reader_sl.exe"

    egui (NOD32/ESS' GUI process) "D:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\egui.exe" /hide /waitservice

    HWinPlus (Hide Window Plus) D:\Program Files\ESET\HideWindowPlus\HWinPlus.exe -background

  6. Hmmm...

    Girls=2 legs, no.=7 7x2=14 (no. of legs)

    Bags=7, 7x7=49

    Cat=4 legs, no. 7 big cats per bag 7x49=343 (no. of big cats) 343x4=1372 (no. of legs)

    Per big cat=7 small cat, 343 big cats all in all, 343x7=2401 (no. of small cats) 2401x4=9604

    Perhaps the answer is from 10990-11000.

    Happy now? My left brain is currently melted. I need to take some break from math :blink:

  7. Perhaps I've only done minor ones

    AV

    Trend Micro IS 2006->NOD32 v3 (ESS' firewall blocks my home network)

    Firewall

    Trend Micro IS 2006 Firewall->Windows XP Firewall

    SUPERAnti-spyware->AVG-Antispyware (SAS isn't playing well on my computer during updates, so I'll withhold it for a while)

  8. When grandparents know more than the persons in-charge, now that's a shame for the company! I would like to see "Hammers" here in the Philippines to do some whacking of sleepy heads :lol: . Probably another of our outcry we may now call People Power 3 (v1 was against totalitarian, v2 was impeachment of a president, v3....).

  9. Perhaps arrogance is the word to describe the main point of the article? Many so-called software tweakers and their developers think that Microsoft made improper codes in running the OS, which is not. Arrogance can really dish out devasting moves :lol:
