if i formatted the MP3 wouldnt that mean i loose all my information?
i can still play the music but the computer just cant detect any folders on the MP3.
this is my first MP3 player. i gave it to my cousin when i bought my ipod nano.
got no clue what model it is.

gday everyone,
i am not sure whether what i am about to tell you is a software problem or hardware but i believe its a software problem. if not then could someone move it to the hardware section?
when i plug in my MP3, the computer recognises it and allows me to open the folders. but when i do, theres nothing on the MP3. sometimes it doesnt even allow me to gain access into the MP3. i have attached a photo to what it says.
what should i do? is it a crap MP3 player or is there something wrong with all of my computers? (3)

unfortunately for me. it still hasnt worked. it keeps telling me to change to the account that i originally installed the program. but how can i switch to another account when the computer has only got one account? (MINE!) i know i installed the program on my account. (the admin account)

when i brought my computer, it was set to default internet browser to IE. now my IE is stuffed up because its a beta! i was wandering how i can change that to Firefox default. i need to upgrade my programs and without the default program working i cant do it.
in short. how can i change default IE to default FF?

yes. this is a pretty good free program. very similar to the MS Office.
there is however a downfall to it that i dont like. in word, when i right click on a word it doesnt give me the synonyms of it. i use that function a lot when im using word. OR is there a function that can do that with open office? if there is please, can someone tell me?
i have recommended this program to others and they think its good too!

thanks for that Greeknight.In the default bookmarks that come with Firefox, in the "Firefox and Mozilla Links" folder, there's one called "Extensions and Themes". This takes you to the official Mozilla Addons site, which is the safest place to get them.
It's best to get the hang of Firefox without adding extensions or themes first. Search the forums on Mozillazine (there's a link to it in the same bookmark folder) for information on extensions you might be interested in. Install extensions or themes one at a time, and use each one for a while to make sure there are no problems before installing another.
Also, avoid installing different extensions with overlapping functions; if you have two extensions that are both trying to modify the same function, it can create a conflict that causes big problems.

if you hate backing your files on an external hard drive then wait till the end of this year when you can get holographic discs. (HD) they can store up to 300GB on each disc. the size of it, is the size of a dvd but a tiny bit thicker.

about a year ago people were paying about US$1 for a gig and now i pay AU$0.90 per gig. which is US$0.67.
it will be even cheaper later. soon there will be one TB fitted on to a size of a USB Pen drive.
