I'm backing up my Music, Photos, and other files to my Mom's computer. I may have to convert back to using my 30.7GB HDD that I gave to my GF for her computer No big deal. She has a 20.2GB HDD that came with her computer and I just replaced it with that 30.7GB that I'm having to convert back to. I'll have to reformatt and everything. I don't care though. I don't have that much Important stuff.

What's the specs. of your sis. computer? A computer to run Xp must have atleast 128MB of RAM but I recommend 256 or even 512MB at most. 600mhz will do for CPU speed.

I've had this happen before on my brothers Notebook and I just pressed Enter or cancel when trying to connect to my computer through his Notebook. Hmm... somebody may have gotten through your Router or whatever and made a password but thats highly unlikely to happen. No Idea how this had happen *Aaron

If it's making a whinning noise then that means the fan is old and it's about to die out. I haven't messed with any Notebooks lately. You could try taking it to a near by computer shop and they may be able to help.

Their is no difference although my friend who is an IT Professional told me Full format is just to make sure EVERYTHING is deleted or removed. Quick is a most used choice as it doesn't take as long

Cowboy, it would be better to Install a fresh copy as you stated. All you do is delete the partition for Windows Me and then do a *Quick Formatt. Then after it's done with that it will copy the start up files to Install Windows and then you go from there. It will restart the computer and pop-up to pressing any KEY but DON"T press any key at that time. Windows will start up and Install and you will be Prompt to set-up Network, Name and Product key.

I heard some good stuff about that game but never got the chance to play it. And... is it just me are is it that everytime I've seen Crazy Taxi being played it skips and has lag in certain areas with the maps. Is that caused by the Disc speed only being at 12x?

The Firewall on the Router is disabled. I doubt Windows Xp's Firewall is the cause.

Ok, so Embarq our ISP came over like 1 month and 3 weeks ago to restore our DSL. We had to lower our Speed from 5MB to 3MB which isn't a big change but anyways... *Tarun's support site will not connect! What could be the problem.
