CCleaner's driver updater does does not tell the difference between Nvidia's GameReadyDriver (GRD) and the STUDIO driver. when offering them to anyone including me.. example: I have the latest GRD for my EVGA/Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB gfx card. v512.95 BUT! CCleaner tells me there is an update... which is not true.. the update available is a studio driver v512.96 and studio drivers are designed for content creators and not gaming which is what I do. - GeForce Game Ready Driver WHQL 512.95 May 24, 2022 - NVIDIA Studio Driver WHQL 512.96 May 23, 2022 please either fix or add an update to the driver updater feature that can tell the difference between the GRD and studio drivers. please and thx.

aah... yeah.. hmm... That is where Defraggler could use some improvements I guess.. optimizing the SSD/NVMe devices... I tried to do a quick optimize but it didn't move or defrag any files... that were fragmented... is it not suppose to? all I can do is move to end of drive or quick defrag to the closest to the start of the device... btw I have a bug report my WD Element 2TB external USB HDD is showing up as a SSD to Defraggler for some reason... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W55K9N6/?th=1 That's the url to the store page for it if your interest in specs..

aah... too bad though I am told not to.. I still quick defrag my NVMe boot device... and so far have only used 7 or 8 TB written out of 600TB max life span.. and I have two WD Black HDDs I find it give me better performance in terms of defragging.. to be my NTFS file systems optimized.... my DELL gaming laptop has a 512GB NVMe storage device..

That is so sad to hear.. I use Defraggler many times every day, along side of CCleaner (which I PAY for every year...) to keep my system very much optimized... Defraggler Pro didn't offer me any real benefit.. so I just use the free one.. as it happens I use it so often that I keep loaded in RAM... all the time.. please don't discontinue it... please release the updated version that you are updating for Big biz.... :( XD

nice! Thx for the feedback\help.. ok so not technically a bug but it shows where CCleaner could use some improvements... I found in the [CCleaner\Data\BackupStorage] folder a hand full of zip backups... two were over 300MB in size .. so that was the culprit after all.. CCleaner is now back to loading in 1-2 seconds now.. a way to look at the driver backups inside CCleaner might help other people out more so.. so we can know that there are lots of backups effecting the startup speed.. maybe or something else.. I will update my post on the tensforums to let them know I found a solution with the help of CCleaner staff.

Hi CCleaner devs and support staff.. for the past few releases or so.. I have noticed the startup times for CCleaner v5 and v6 on my Dell G15 Ryzen Edition 5515 gaming laptop, which runs Windows 10 Pro x64 have been very slow.. ie. load times have been very long.. 4 to 8 seconds instead of 1-2 like on my Desktop gaming rig... which runs Windows 11 Pro x64. Is it a bug in CCleaner or a Windows 10 issue maybe? I would appreciate some feedback, advice, or help... as I am not sure if it is a bug or not... I currently have CCleaner (v6.0.9727)(Pro) installed on both computers.. laptop and desktop. In today's update the the bookmarks backup cleaning is labeled only [bookmarks] and not [bookmarks backups].. This should be changed in a future update as it can be misleading... I was worried that it would wipe all my bookmarks out...

I am using Windows 11 now... nothing too noticeable wrong with it... Defraggler that is.. just it bothers me there hasn't been any updates to Defraggler for us since 2018 still.... and two years in between the update before that one.. https://www.ccleaner.com/defraggler/version-history

the well % gauge for completion of a defrag be it quick or full is not very accurate and never reaches 100% completion.. for a single file defrag (which is one of my favorite features) it usual reaches 45% or so.. and around 70% if I am quick defraging a lot more files.. It seems to be working fine other wise.. it hasn't corrupted my system or caused it to crash, so all is good there.. well whatever other improvements they could possible think to make to it..

for updates the usual bug fixes etc... Piriform said they have been updating Defraggler for the cloud version for their business customers.. but have left us free users out in the cold... :(

dear Piriform please respond again... Defraggler is one of my favorite programs and I use it every day...

10+ years ago I tried a tool called Ultimate/Ultra Defrag or something like that.. I tried to optimize the disk meta file placement including the $MFT master file table... IT borked!! the whole HDD.. I had to reinstall the OS and everything on those HDDs... I was working/volunteering at a LAN center at the time..

Its now June of 2021 and still no updates for Defraggler.. :( so a whole year as passed.. :( so disappointing..

Dave is there any update yet on a timetable as to when the Defraggler changes will go live? its June now...

ok.... can't be helped then... well I will wait for it..

this appears to be a long term issue.. as its still not resolved.. the Speccy urls don't work for me...

I went to visit my published system specs via http://speccy.piriform.com/results/q0tl3XuBqd6LTokMGeKlCcd and got a error 503... the old url above does not seem to work anymore... Speccy needs an update and so does Defraggler...

I am having this issue too with my CPU: AMD FX-9590 Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 (Socket 942) Virtualization: Supported, Disabled wheres it is listed in the BIOS as SVM = enabled
