  1. Hi Alan_B I have been trying to understand Trim.bat and am confused by the existence of embedded instructions in the file, your Trim_help.txt, and the mention of other versions in this forum, e.g. Trim_12.bat. Mr Winapp.ini (Robbie Ward) pointed me to a pasted version of the file at paste2.org/MH6sCceX as there is a problem downloading it from the Winapp2.com link, but I am unsure if the is your latest version and if it is not, where I can get the latest version. I have experimented with Trim.bat from the paste source on an older computer and it seems to have worked, but I would fe
  2. Sorry if this is the wrong place to start a new conversation, but I have recently started using Winapp2.ini and thought I would point out that the OpenOffice entry appears not to relate to OpenOffice 4 as the FileKeys are incorrect. e.g. FileKey2 should be %AppData%\OpenOffice\4\user|registrymodifications.xcu;registration.xml and FileKey7 should be%AppData%\OpenOffice\4\user\uno_packages\cache\uno_packages|*.tmp I am afraid I cannot correct all the entries and am also uncomfortable knowing whether even the above corrections are safe. Hope this helps and that eventually there will

  4. I have been using CCleaner for a while, and AVG as my antivirus solution. Previously all versions of CCleaner I have used have automatically recognised AVG 7 or 8. However, even the latest CCleaner (2.24.1010) does not recognise AVG 9.0. I have read all the stuff about winapp2.ini files but am wondering if the next update of CCleaner will include embedded support for AVG 9.0. Although I have created a winapp2.ini file with an entry for AVG 9.0 which works, I do not feel qualified to decide what folders to include, as it may not simply be a case of copying the AVG 8 details and jus
