So what improvements have they made, in laymens terms. It just seems the same as when it was owned by Merijn.

Real Player is a load of bloated rubbish to be honest. It never did any good for me, I never used it, and since the BBC have extended their TV shows compatiability on the internet to Windows Media Player, I have seen no reason to keep this.
Why would I want to record a video anyway? Youtube does not have any good videos either. tv-links.com ftw *shifty*

I still use internet Explorer.
I found avant just too simple, and didn't like it much
I got annoyed with losing my favourites all the time in firefox.
Opera was too complicated

I used it once and turned back to adobe. Ok, so that loads up slowly, but foxit has so many annoying problems that I just had to do it.

Oo sounds good. I hope the GUI is improved vastly, because CCleaner looks a little outdated, when compared with the new ad-aware version.

Takes forever to install, its not faster for me..still a load of junk, and I still don't see the need of having it, waste 100MB to view a pdf file..yeah right...

Ccleaner is not a virus, just add these false positives to your ignore list. It's funny how some companies who think they are so great, try to discredit the free utilities, such as symantec and spybot..

yup, Im a big fan of arovax but I read someone it was de-listed from anti-rogue spywares. Does that mean its unsafe or just unknown? This was the reason I uninstalled the last version I had because I was unsure.

Nice, sounds good. I hope the memory usage will be reduced. Since the last few updates I have noticec scanning for issues has taken a bit more memory.

I would rather have some sort of anti-virus, because if I didn't and then somehow I got a virus I would think to myself, dam, why didn't I just install one in the first place...

As far as I am concerned all passwords you use should have digits and letters in a random order. Make sure its hard to guess and only memorable to you.

Well, my computer loads up fairly slowly, but when its loaded its all fine.
It seems to take ages to load when it reaches this stage:

The blue bar will be seen loading about 30 times before going to the login page, where after that its fine. I am just wondering why it takes so long to load at this point, and is there any way, apart from a reformat, to quicken this up. I have a 2.4Ghz PC with 767MB RAM.
