  1. 2 Nuns in a bath, one say to the other "where's the soap?"

The other one says, "it sure does"

I'm gonna go straight to hell for that one!!

  2. Can any of you guys recommend software for editing PNG files?

Free opensource would be better. I had a look at the stuff in the freeware topic, but frankly there are so many I was hoping someone could narrow it down a bit.

    Thanks

  3. You can change the theme/background. There are some on the Aqua-soft website link I give you. You can also use objectdock and Y'z dock backgrounds, but not all of the themes work. I'm afraid it's a bit of trial and error. You can also use the objectdock docklets on RK too, if you didn't know.

  4. Just a sample of some of the music I've got.

    The Stranglers

    Scissor Sisters

    Alice Cooper

    Aha

    BB King

    The Beatles

    Blondie

    Bon Jovi

    Beach Boys

    Texas

    Beautiful South

    OMD

    Barenaked Ladies

    Frankie Goes to Hollywood

    Kiss

    The Who

    Neil Young

    Jean Michel Jarre.

This is just a very small sample, I've got about 35gb worth of mp3's. I don't listen to my CD's anymore I've got most of them loaded on to the PC.

  5. Your right RK doesn't have a "help" file and yes it was all trial and error for me too. To make the task bar disappear you need to right click on RK pick settings, then choose the tab behavior. Then click "hide the task bar". You can also change the seeting to show where your minimize goes to, ie shows up on the dock.

One docklet you might want ot look for is called "task docklet" this shows what you have open at anytime.

I couple of good website to go to are http://www.wincustomize.com/index.aspx?u=0, this has loads of docklet for, look under the objectdock section. It's also a great source for icons, wallpapers etc.

For help try http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/forumdisplay.php?f=81. You'll need to search around this one for help, but it's where the developer sits most of the time. Word of warning, the mods of this forum are ruthless.

Once you get the hang of it, it's cool bit of software.

Hope that helps you at least.

  6. Thanks for the input guys.

I tried to used MediaMonkey about 6 months ago and found it to be the ugliest application I've ever came across.

I'll give foobar a try then have a look at winamp again.

  7. Hi

I've been using musicmatch7.5 for years, and think it's a great bit of software, the BIG downside is it a major drain on the processor. I've review many other media players over the past few weeks and came to the conclusion that winamp would suit me. One thing that I haven't seen any of the media plays can do is fetch the album art and track names, I can then use these to rename my tracks.

Can anyone convince me to change to winamp or something similar (free would better too).

Basically what are the advantages to disadvantages for changing.

    Many Thanks

  8. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall, or open directly from the folder.

Make sure that it's not already running before you try to open it.

I've never used or heard of this software but these are the things I'd try first.

  9. Do you change your desktop every month?

Generally not, but since installing WB and launcher it's given me greater scope to change my DS. Plus last months was all festive, that was an excuse I used. Who knows what Feb will bring. :D

  10. Here's January's Desktop. It's starting to look more like a Mac every day :D

The launcher isn't normally on the side but I thought you'd like to see the Vista taskbar and Start Menu.

    Hope you enjoy it

  11. Looks a cool bit of software, when i next rebuilt my PC, which should be in a few months (This is one of my twice yearly ways of clearing junk off the PC I'll use this software). Until then if I had to reinstall windows I'm sure my wife would rip me a new one. :D
