    Found some Burnatonce download.. Is this one still the latest? (Hmm.. 2004)

    cdburnerxp pro can create image files, it creates .ISO image files.

     

    Would CDburnerXp work on Windows ME?

     

    And how well? .. Anyone knows?

     

     

    also .. that other one burnatonce (or whatever it's name) - the link is screwed up somewhat...

    But i was at their forum.. it's spammed with porn ads..

     

    just wondering where one can download this program.. and if it will work with Windows ME.. and how well?

    i am looking for an alternative for Nero maybe.. to be able to work on my Windows ME...

     

    Free would be nice too...

     

    For some reason Nero spoils a CD often.. so would NOT mind something that works reliable and not a hog :)

     

    Any comments.. or other suggestions?

    Just switch to Avast, AVG, or AntiVir and never again be bugged to re-purchase a license.

     

    I tried all of those 3 mentioned ones...

     

    And settled on AntiVir.. - I am very happy with it.. - and over all satisfied with the way this FREE antivirus proggy works :)

    I'm waiting for the final version. I don't prefer betas...

     

    I prefer Final version as well, of course... :)

     

    But sometimes, i don't mind running Beta version as well... (here and there anyhow) .. expecially if those are running smooth...

     

    After all, .. someone, out there, HAS to run / test it :D

    Hehe.. i found the problem :)

     

    The problem is - I am running Windows ME on this computer here.. ;)

    Here is a link .. right at Mozilla's site:

    BUT.. How come it's NOT running on my computer though..

    Never had the same problem before with other versions..

    Even current v 2.0 is running OK...

     

    With this Alpha 1 v 3.0 .. what is happening:

     

    Upon it's install .. and then "Launch the program"

     

    After the program is launched .. the box comes up.. something like this:

     

    The name of the box is: "Error Starting Program"

     

    Inside the box it says:

     

    "The FIREFOX.EXE file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:UpdateLayeredWindow."

     

    ----

    It says exactly that.. - Any idea/suggestions on what to do or could be done?

    P.S. I just tried to start the program again..

    And the same Box pops in..

    But under it i noticed there is another error box:

     

    " C:\Program Files\Gran Raradiso\firefox.exe

     

    A device attached to the system is not functioning"

    Hehe .. WTF.. what device are they talking about now? :rolleyes:

     

    Everything is functioning in other browsers or even other firefox versions..

    Just noticed something.. hehe:

     

    Inside the Gran Paradiso directory.. there is a Readme file.. txt file..

     

    I opened it and it says in it:

     

    " For information about installing, running and configuring Firefox

    including a list of known issues and troubleshooting information,

    refer to: http://getfirefox.com/releases/ "

     

    I tried going there.. but it just redirects me to Mozilla Firefox page :)

    So the question is, when you said "Make sure you get all the additional dictionaries ect to get the most use out of this program.", DID you mean all those on that page there? (including all those other foreign ones there, that i don't have a clue how to speak) .. Or did you mean some other dictionaries.. (maybe some other English ones, etc .. some other useful ones) that are located at some other link(s)?

    Security is at "Custom" somehow...

     

    Privacy is at "Medium" though ...

     

    So i am not sure...

     

    Ticker is so so.. Not too bad.. for now i shut it off though, lol...

     

    I tried few other ones also.. (mentioned in another thread i think)

     

    The best one from them all (for me anyhow) - i found it to be Worldflash ticker... BUT it's NOT a Freeware :(

     

    ...

    Ya.. if you are on Dial-up.. - maybe don't bother running it..

    (i used to be on Dial-up.. - on Cable now .. and tried DSL also by now)

    I know what the Dial-up is all about :(

     

    On dial-up - i would NOT bother with tickers.. (don't think i would anyhow) ;)

    By the way - did you try this program / ticker after you downloaded it?

    (if so, what do you think of it?)

     

    Meanwhile though, lol - I got it now already.. (all by myself) :)

    And i am running the ticker now.. :)

    Oh wow!

     

    I closed my Internet Explorer 6.0

     

    .. and opened Mozilla Firefox.. and went to the same "download ticker" link (mentioned above)

     

    .. and no problem .. hehe - it downloaded the setup ticker file.. and i installed it no problem .. and trying out this ticker as we speak, lol

     

    Wonder what gives though.. why with Firefox but NOT with IE?

    Hmmmmm

    Oh well :)
