  1. When I was looking through the programs on my computer in Uninstall manager, I noticed that I had 2 Spybots installed.

    One says: Spybot S&D

The other says: Spybot S&D 1.5.2.20

Should I uninstall one? And if I should, which one should I uninstall?

  2. One of my favorite security programs is getting terminated whenever I click on enable all protection.

An error message comes up saying: Error: Access violation at 0x005F71FC (tried to read from 0x067B038C), program terminated.

I've never had this problem before and I've tried reinstalling. Please help, I can't do without Spyware Blasters protection! :(

  3. Hello everyone! I have some freeware recommendations, if they haven't been posted here already.

Auslogics Disk Defrag: It's a great program at defragging your computer and I've used it a lot with out any problems. Very user-friendly too.

Auslogics Registry Defrag: Unlike some registry cleaning/defragging programs, Auslogics Registry Defrag doesn't screw up your computer. A quick reboot is all you need. It's great and I've used it for some time without any problems. Very user-friendly too. ;)

  4. Just in case people want to know of some good computer optimizing programs, I 100% recommend Auslogics. It's totally awesome and it works. ;) They have 2 free products, Auslogics Disk Defrag and Auslogics Registry Defrag. I used both lots of times and never had a problem. ;)

  5. My parents don't have a firewall and they're aren't exactly computer experts so does anyone here know of a free, non-intrusive (without pop-ups about different stuff, like settings etc.), good firewall I could install on my parents' computers?

  6. Anyone try the new ff beta? The new theme is possibly the ugliest looking thing they could have done:

    http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080...x-3-beta-3.html

I haven't tried it yet but man that thing is awful looking. tongue.gif

I hate that they put the home button on the bookmark bar. I hated that on mozilla and hate it on firefox too. tongue.gif At least unlike mozilla you can just drag it up to where it should be(maybe, haven't tried 3.0)

The linux and mac themes aren't bad(I really hope they fixed the ugly widgets and fonts on linux. Just go to google in a linux distro to see what I mean.)

Just be glad there are hundreds of themes for firefox. tongue.gif

I'm using FF 3 Beta 3 right now and the theme sucks. Also you can move the home button back to where it originally was. But despite the theme, it's really good, especially the security. Theres new features too. ;)

  7. hey guys. ill check out the we mail extension. i think i figured out the problem. i disabled adblock (just trying out different things) which was updated today and then tried to reload the extension and it worked. so ill assume it was something in adblock. but ill give webmail a shot. thanks for that guys! :)
