How do you remove the file? Do you delete the hosts file that you downloaded?

Ok thanks!

Is there anyway to remove the MVPS HOSTS file and go back to the system's original if your system screws up?

I accidentally clicked "Post" two times in a row, and now I've double posted. And I can't seem to find anything to delete my post. Thanks in advance for any help.

Reinstalling it maybe? I don't really know because I haven't had a problem with FF 3 Beta 5 yet...

Hehe! That was hilarious!

Thanks for the help everyone, I tried out Foxit, and I've decided that it's a whole lot better than Adobe's load of crap. Adobe is out my computer and Foxit is going in.

I'm planning to reinstall my computer too, once SP 3 comes out.

That is kinda creepy... I don't think I'll ever want to do it.

Is the official version of XP Service Pack 3 out? Or is this just a beta or something?

I have Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and it really wastes my disk space. It's over 100 mb. Are there any small alternatives to viewing Adobe files? Because I don't want to uninstall Adobe Reader and end up with out a program to view adobe files.

I have .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 on my computer. Should I remove the older version? I don't know what I should do.

Capman, please look at Icedrake's post count, the last couple of days have seen a marked increase as he tries to reach 100 posts.
I am sure with the skills he obviously possesses he was more than capable of finding it out himself or at least making an attempt and posting if he ran into a problem with it.
Actually Hazelnut, I did try removing Messenger, but I ended screwing up my computer, by following instructions on the internet. Thats when I decided to post here.

Well... Have you ever gotten any viruses or spyware from that site?

Thanks for the help everyone, I did what you said Anthony, and it worked.

I have Messenger and it's not on my uninstall list so I don't know how to unistall it. There's also a folder in my Program Files called Messenger. I don't use Messenger and I don't want it on my computer and I was wondering if anyone knew how to 100% remove Messenger from your computer.

It's an energy saving search site who's searches are powered by Google. I sometimes use it to help save energy. But I don't get how changing a website's color to black helps to save energy.

I have .Net Framework 2, and I was wondering weather anyone knew what the newest version is.

I just noticed this program on File Hippo, and it's pretty useful. It notifies the user of the computer if they have any updates to the software installed on their computer.

After uninstalling S&D run this reg fix provided by the makers of S&D. It will remove all reg entries. Than do a clean install.
I'm not an expert on the registry Anthony, so could you please tell me how you run that? Thanks
Is this a good alternative to viewing Quicktime files?

Thanks for the link Rridgley, but I already have VLC Media Player, but it doesn't play embedded Quicktime files does it?
