Glad things seem okay for you now, I don't think you made a fuss at all, you just wanted to know what was going on.
Nothing wrong with that
I take it all your virus/malware scans are clean?
Thanks. well ZoneAlarm did not pick anything so i'm assuming my system is clean

the BSOD look liked this...
but its fine now hazelnut..thank you again for helping me sorry to make such a fuss
-
my pc restarted and gave me a BSOD(it seems i is dumping some memory stuff) @___@ but i have figured out the problem...the original slot of my RAM was damaged(because when it was on the BSOD it automatically restarted)...luckily i have 1 more slot so when i changed it to the other slot my pc booted again...but the fact is for the years that my pc has existed i have not encountered this memory.dmp and as a said above its a first time for me...anyway its fine now...
EDIT:
its here again..can i delete it? but im afraid that i might get a BSOD again
-
well here's the SS when i ran CCleaner. This is the first time i have encountered this file..
and its over 1gig is it safe to be deleted?
-
try updating to the latest version.

now this is funny

Is program needed? Because it's on my computer and I heard from some sites that it's spyware and from others that its related to your sound system and is harmless. And before you say "GO RESEARCH THAT ON GOOGLE!", I already did that, and I can't decide if I want to allow it to start-up or if I dont.
might as well check on blackviper's website and check if that alcmtr.exe is needed or not
-
try this.
Go to My Computer or My Documents>Click the "Tools">then "View">untick the "Show encrypted or compressed NTSC in color"
-
to all that have replied to this topic especially hazelnut..i would like to thank you all even though the problem was not solved...i think the problem is because this pc of mine is getting really old hehe..(its already 6 years old and only the RAM is new )i think i will just get a new pc if i have some money again thanks to all!.
P.S
sorry for my bad english
-
ok might as well try that
EDIT:
didn't work either..i think andavari is right my installshield wizard might be corrupted.
-
okay i give up i think i will just reformat my pc.
-
Can your archiving software extract the setup file, if not maybe UE can and hopefully it can and they have a normal setup file inside the archived setup.exe file.
Other than that maybe InstallShield is corrupted on your system, it can happen.
Got this from the Sun Java website about a corrupted InstallShield:
thanks Andavari for i'll try these and post back if it didn't work
EDIT:
unfortunately it doesnt have a normal setup file..oh well might as well try the second one
-
sorry for the double post...
EDIT:
@hazelnut
i have tried your posted links but its still not working..and i dont get an error screen in fact nothing is poping out from my screen.
-
q231, your screen shot is definitely Vista.
Unless you found a really good Aero theme for XP, I can't help but think you are running Vista, and that could be the source of all your problems.
AJ
im not using windows vista its windows blinds
@hazelnut
thanks for the link i'll try find some solutions there
@davey
already tried that but still no luck
-
Sorry g231 I don't know enough about this RoseOnline to make anymore suggestions.
As I mentioned earlier a trip to their forums seems the next obvious step.
no..thank you for help hazelnut but now the problem is i can't run any setup related to installshieldwizard...
