Moderators hazelnut Posted October 19, 2008 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2008 Have you checked that all mention of opera is gone in your computer? Often things get left behind in places like C\program files etc. Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com

snegom
CC might be detecting the presence of Opera from teh following registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Opera Also confirm that these locations/paths no longer exist.. C:\Program Files\Opera 9\ (Profile folders for XP) C:\Documents and settings\YOURNAME\Application data\Opera\Opera\profile\ C:\Documents and settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Application data\Opera\Opera\profile\ Its been a few years since I used Opera. Hello. Yes,- I first cleaned with RegSupreme after the uninstall.Furthermore checked %appdata% and deleted Opera_profile.Maybe a new Cc will solve the problem. Here is a page that will better explain these files. Apparently has to do with ASP .Net v2: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-...11-6158907.html Also are you saving your settings to INI? Cc came like this as default: ...should I save the settings to INI as you mentioned when I still have Opera in the Cc?
