However, in Vista I cannot run ZAP firewall, so I am trying Kaspersky Internet Security as a trial. It's really good, but I have issues with the scanning speed for the file and web antivirus since NOD32 is faster in both categories. Is there a way I can run KAV and NOD32 without any conflicts? Pfipps Posted April 19, 2007 Author Share Posted April 19, 2007 I had an odd crash with KAV and NOD32 that I recovered from. Howeverm now there is about a 10-15 second delay when I boot up Vista. I modified KAV only to have the anti-hacker, proactive defense, and anti-spy installed so it won't interfere with NOD32 on demand scanning of file and web data. avp.exe installs it self as a network driver for the firewall, and NOD32 does the same thing. It is advisable to exclude avp.exe from NOD32's IMON scanner since it would be double scanning? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
