I have submitted a forum item concerning crashing , and attempts to hijack my host file yesterday. Despite utiling a numer of ani/spyware/malware programs noting was eliminated that corrected this problem. I now cannot write the name of the programe without it causing this problem even on this forum, but it is -cleaner (ah that worked I hope) . To repeat my earleir request. I have a situation where if I touch the above -c with the cursor the desktop crashes, and that programme attempts to modify my host file with text usqlrjvv.txt. I have attempted to remove this programme without success in add and remove. Rightly or wrongly I have deleted C in the registry and restarted but the problem and icon still remains on the desktop. I have also attempted to see what this modifing text was in, run ,but access is denied?? I tried a square, backlight, AVG, webroot,.m so amy suggestion help very welcome, for which many thanks.

Did you check your original posting and post a Hijackthis log as Hazelnut suggested?

Make a post in the Spyware Hell - HijackThis Log Analysis as suggested above, post even if hijack this wont run.
