The folders are related to system restore, If you know what that is and are sure you want to empty all but the latest (Run Disk Cleanup Windows Utility -not CCleaner- click More Options, under Syetem Restore section click Cleanup) or disable system restore see this. If unsure just leave system Restore alone unless you are cleaning up after a virus/spyware infection that has backed up into the restore folder, or understand the implications. fireryone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you're running Vista, you can't even look into the C:\System Volume Information\ folder. (Maybe you can with UAC turned off . . .)
